TOVCOL WET&DRY by Tover is a high performance, water based acrylic flooring adhesive for resilient and textile floor coverings. Suitable for LVT, SPC, vinyl, rubber, carpet, linoleum and cork in sheets or tiles, its solvent free formula combines good initial tack with a long open time for flexible professional installation.
Designed for indoor floors and walls, this versatile adhesive is suitable for residential, commercial and industrial environments, including projects with underfloor heating. It supports traditional wet laying and the double drop method, as well as pressure sensitive installation of dimensionally stable coverings on suitable non absorbent substrates, subject to the manufacturer's preparation instructions.

Key Features and Benefits
- Broad compatibility with resilient and textile floor coverings makes it a versatile choice for professional flooring projects.
- Good initial tack helps establish contact between the adhesive and the covering.
- A long open time provides flexibility during installation.
- Suitable for underfloor heating and areas where coverings are exposed to high temperatures, within the stated service temperature range.
- Supports wet, double drop and pressure sensitive laying methods where appropriate for the covering and substrate.
Adhesive Consumption
Consumption varies with the substrate, floor covering and trowel used:
- TKB A1 or A2 trowel: Approximately 200–300g/m²
- TKB B1 trowel: Approximately 300–350g/m²
- TKB B2 trowel: Approximately 350–450g/m²
Installation and Subfloor Preparation
Substrates must be level, sound, clean and dry, with no loose material or rising moisture. Acclimatise the adhesive, covering and subfloor to the same temperature before installation. Follow the technical datasheet for moisture limits, priming and levelling requirements. The datasheet specifies at least 2mm of Rockfloor F10 levelling compound for non absorbent subfloors; consult its preparation instructions alongside the guidance for pressure sensitive laying.
Mix well before use and apply evenly with a suitable trowel. For traditional wet laying, allow a waiting time of 10–20 minutes, then lay and roll the covering, checking that adhesive transfers to its backing. For pressure sensitive laying, allow the adhesive to become semi transparent and remain tacky without transferring to the fingers before fitting and rolling the covering. Always follow the flooring manufacturer's installation instructions.
Important Use and Storage Information
For professional use only. Technical timings are indicative and based on 20°C and 60% relative humidity; actual times vary with substrate absorbency, temperature and humidity. Do not use in permanently humid environments or in direct contact with water. Protect from frost. Clean tools with water immediately after use, or with Stripcoll once the adhesive has dried. Consult the technical datasheet, product label and safety data sheet before use.
