About Kahrs Original Sand
The Original Sand collection offers nine extraordinary designs. Choose between designs with a glossy matt lacquer or a natural oiled coating. Both keep the surface of the floors well protected against scratches and scuffs. For reassurance, they are sold with a great 30-year guarantee.
Each pack will cover up to 2.91 square metres. The planks boast an extra-large design, with most measuring 2423mm long, 200mm wide and 15mm deep. A 3.5mm wear layer is included for maximum durability.
You’ll also find the range comfortable underfoot. They are suitable to be used with underfloor heating. This ensures even on the coldest days; the floor will be warm and comfortable to walk on.
You won’t need any prior experience to install these floors. A Woodloc click system is built-in for easy, fast installation. The system allows the planks to click together quickly for a floating floor method. You also have the option to glue them down if you prefer a more secure fit. Start and stop boards may be supplied, further easing the process.
The floors with a stained effect will change colour over time. You can re-stain the floors, but you may not end up with the original effect. Be advised that the oiled floors will need to have another oil coating applied after installation.
