About Kahrs Original Founders
The Original Founders collection consists of six unique designs. Each depicts the natural beauty of the wood. Expert craftsmanship ensures impeccable attention to detail. Choose from a selection of light, medium and dark colour variations. Each has been coated with a natural oil for authenticity.
The packs supplied will cover 2.72 square metres. Planks measure 2420mm long, 187mm wide and 15mm thick. The longer planks are perfect for larger rooms and they are also easier to fit. There is a 3.5mm wear layer included, and they consist of a 3-layer design. This creates a highly durable floor.
The brushed and Handscraped effect gives these floors a luxurious feel. It reveals the deeper grains underneath for a rustic appearance. An oil coating helps to produce a more natural effect. It also protects the surface from scratches and stains. Be aware, after installation you will need to apply another oil coating. This is to ensure maximum durability.
Installing the floor couldn’t be easier. The planks contain a Woodloc click system. This advanced system connects the planks by simply clicking them together. You can follow a floating floor installation to save time or glue the planks down if preferred.
To keep the floors warm and comfortable in winter, install them with underfloor heating. As they feature a real wood veneer, avoid installing them in high-moisture areas.
