About Kahrs ID Chevron
The ID Chevron engineered wood collection by Kahrs is truly unique. Unlike standard ID Chevron floors, these feature a 19-strip plank design. The range even won the FX International Interior Design Awards for its innovative, striking designs.
There are three designs to choose from including grey, light and dark brown. The planks measure 1848mm long, 305mm wide and 15mm thick. Each pack will cover a maximum of 2.04 square metres. This ensures they provide great value for money.
The 19-strip plank design is a unique benefit. Typically, ID Chevron style floors come with small left-side and right-side planks. These need to be individually secured down which can take a long time. So, the 19-strip design of these planks makes them much quicker to fit.
Each of the floors have been brushed to create a stunning rustic effect. The harsher grains underneath are revealed for a more authentic finish. They have also been stained for a long-lasting beautiful finish.
The planks are fitted with a tongue and groove system. This allows for floating floor installation and is easy enough to do alone. You could also glue the floor down if preferred for a more stable finish.
