Bespoke Engineered Wood Flooring
When you want your flooring to be as unique as your home, our bespoke flooring is ideal. We create bespoke engineered wood to match practically any environment. You have full control over the design for a personalised finish. No matter what your preferences, we can create a floor to match them.
About Custom Engineered Wooden Floors
Bespoke engineered floors are made to your specifications. You get to choose the unique finish of the floor, alongside which species of wood is used. These custom options help to create a floor that perfectly matches your needs.
You will first need to decide upon the wood species and grading you want. We focus on oak bespoke flooring as this is the most versatile species to work with. The grading of the floor affects the overall appearance. Rustic provides the most character, whereas oiled is the most natural.
You can also choose from 1-plank or Herringbone and Parquet designs. The latter offers a more unique finish, though it is a little more expensive. We also offer a range of dimensions to fit your preferences. You can choose from widths of 90mm through to over 400mm. We also offer depths from 15mm to 20mm. Think of the size of the room and how durable you want the floor to be before choosing the right dimensions.
There are a range of finishes on offer too. You could choose custom unfinished floor for maximum design control. Or, select from oiled, lacquered and brushed finishes. You may want to research the benefits of each finish before making a decision.
If you’re looking for full control over how your new floor looks, our custom range is ideal. You can contact our flooring experts to learn more about your design options.
Installation
All of our bespoke wooden flooring comes with tongue and groove installation. You can choose whether you want to secure them down or not. The floating floor method is the fastest and easiest option. Simply slot the planks together for a secure fit.
You can also glue or nail down the floors. This protects the floor from moving and from potentially becoming damaged. However, the glue and nail down method is a little more time consuming.
